The museum was very well organized and well done. We were queuing for approx. half an hour. We took the guided tour which lasts approx. 1 Hr. It was very informative, all be it the guy spoke very fast. I would recommend this tour.

The museum is tastefully done - it has scale, space and gravitas. It’s quite minimalist in terms of exhibits and information but i think that’s right, keeping the message clear and simple. Don’t come here for an in depth history lesson but do expect a moving experience. It feels a little churlish to add caveats, but there are flaws. The ticket purchase and entry system is awful, with sprawling lines and a lack of information about timings or procedures. What makes this particularly bad is the museum and queues are so close to the outside memorials. It’s hard enough to show appropriate respect when there are idiots posing for photos whilst grinning like Cheshire cats but even harder when there are hundreds of confused people milling around shuttling to, from and around the museum. And there is a sense that you shouldn’t be charged quite as much to pay your respects - and that the gift shop is a little crass.
