Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! Still can’t believe this was only thirteen dollars- we saw dolphins on and off the whole time we were on the boat! Our captain and his sons kept us entertained with facts about the dolphins and South Padre- and the ride was gentle and way for our group of fifteen, including children from 5-17. We’ll be back!

What a disappointment! I am sure this is probably a great company, but we booked out trip a few weeks in advance, paid in full, and received confirmation and information about our trip for 8. We were "curious" the day before and called to see how many people were booked with us. We were told it was just the 8 of us. They said, OH, WE WERE SUPPOSE TO CALL YOU to tell you your trip is not at 6:00 now, but 5:30. I told her I was so glad I called. We were then instructed to come between 5:00-5:15. All 8 showed up for our last evening in SPI for a beautiful night seeing dolphins and the sunset. We were then told they had cancelled our trip because they booked a "private" instead and that they had a note that SOMEONE had called to tell us. Now, I understand it is off season, but at least have the courtesy to contact another company and let us know they have another option for us or SOMETHING besides - WE CANCELLED YOU! Luckily, we found another company that gave us the EVENING of a lifetime! Thank you, Osprey Cruises! Thinking we were FORCED to make a much better choice!

What a great deal this was. We saw many dolphins. We were on 6:00 tour, so the sunset was beautiful. Quite a few people, but with 2 levels on the boat, it didn’t feel crowded. I highly recommend it.
