Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! For the price, you can’t get better family entertainment on SPI. The tour guide had some very interesting facts and the area. We saw a few dolphins, probably about 10, had I spent the $30-$40 the other places charge I would have been disappointed. For the $ we got great value.

The tour was great and informative. However, the crew did not ask, require, nor enforce the city, county, and state ordinance to wear a mask. People were crammed up on top of each other in the front of the boat with no masks on. This is a socially unacceptable behavior. We were assured by the young lady at the payment booth that masks would be required and enforced. The photo attached is before it got really crammed with people at the front. Regardless, I think it demonstrates my point. Scott
