Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the tour, listen to the interesting and informative narration on the diverse marine life that lives within the waters surrounding South Padre Island. Keep an eye out for a 'pod', which may consist of 10 to 30 dolphins. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home. Then end it with a unique view of a beautiful south Texas sunset right there on the water! This dolphin watch cruise was amazing and fun. It was great to see pods if wild dolphins and tour the bay around the island. The captain gives detailed info about the island and about the native sea life. His helpers were just as good and when it was time to view the eco life, they were informative and very interactive with the younger passengers! Best time to go is in the afternoon because it is not as hot and dolphins were very active! I highly recommend this tour with this company!

As the captain said, "these are wild animals and don't come out to play just because you want them to." We saw some, but they were not very active. The captain tried to make up for it by showing us shrimping boats, Space X, and the coast guard building. The Real highlight was finding a kiak with no one in it, but there were shoes. It was fun to be involved in the rescue.

The entire crew were very funny and delightful to be around. The entire trip was filled with landmarks and lots of info regarding South Padre. It was peaceful and beautiful to see the dolphins play.
