9am Turtle Canyon Snorkel Adventure

Overview

What better way to start your day than to slip into the refreshing waters of Turtle Canyon and swim with amazing green sea turtles, beautiful tropical fish, and other incredible marine life? Our snorkel guides help you feel confident, safe and at ease as you dive in and explore the beauty just below the surface. Our guides specialize in showing you not only turtles, but also hidden creatures such as a tako (octopus), vana (sea urchin), and so much more! We provide snorkels, masks, fins and snorkel vests to get you out there exploring all the remarkable sea life below!

After we've finished snorkeling, we'll hoist the sails and set out around Diamond Head on the search for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, and in the winter months, we'll be on the lookout for Humpback Whales making their yearly migration. Stretch out on the nets, relax and enjoy complimentary snacks as we cruise along some of the most beautiful scenery on the island!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The catamaran was clean and had plenty of space for storage. We were picked up and dropped off on the beach. We were given a life vest to inflate and snorkeling gear. They even had prescription snorkel which was great for me. We saw plenty of turtles and a lot of colourful fish. It was an awesome experience. After the snorkel we sailed along the coast for 20 mins. We had wonderful views of Waikiki and diamond head.

The catamaran was completely full, but our family was still able to find a comfortable spot to enjoy! The canyon was also super busy with other tour groups, but again, you are able to spread out. SO MANY TURTLES!!! We loved swimming with all of the turtles. My 9, 11, and 13 y.o loved it too! The 12 pm group showed up as we were leaving, definitely a smaller group size. I would do the later tour next time - but we would for sure book with Holokai again!

Even though the waters were a little rough and murky on our selected sailing day, the crew was top notch from check in through to the end. Information was clear and plentiful, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, the catamaran was beautiful, and the views spectacular! We had a great time and still managed to see a few turtles!
