9am Turtle Canyon Snorkel Adventure

Overview

What better way to start your day than to slip into the refreshing waters of Turtle Canyon and swim with amazing green sea turtles, beautiful tropical fish, and other incredible marine life? Our snorkel guides help you feel confident, safe and at ease as you dive in and explore the beauty just below the surface. Our guides specialize in showing you not only turtles, but also hidden creatures such as a tako (octopus), vana (sea urchin), and so much more! We provide snorkels, masks, fins and snorkel vests to get you out there exploring all the remarkable sea life below!

After we've finished snorkeling, we'll hoist the sails and set out around Diamond Head on the search for Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, and in the winter months, we'll be on the lookout for Humpback Whales making their yearly migration. Stretch out on the nets, relax and enjoy complimentary snacks as we cruise along some of the most beautiful scenery on the island!

We had a great time on the Snorkel adventure! We met at the office which was a quick walk to the beach where we met the boat. Crew was friendly, boat was clean and snorkeling gear was in good order. We hopped in the water and saw tons of turtles and fish. We had an idiot on-board that got to close to a ray, i think. The crew told us before we got in the water to stay 6 feet away from all marine life. He got whacked in the face. You could see the sting from his neck upwards and he was in a lot of pain. The crew reacted quickly, pulled us out of the water and moved the person to shore for treatment.

Captain and crew. Ryan, Mark And Sam took us on our 9:00am turtle canyon tour. We went on a Sunday. So, two things working for us…Sunday and early morning. We only had about 12 guests on a catamaran that usually seats 24 for this tour. The crew were personable and laid-back, but they kept a good eye on everyone. They handled all of our swimming abilities very well. Anchored just a little ways off so we didn’t crowd the other boats. When we were done checking out the turtles, they raised the sail and took us for a short sail. Altogether a really nice trip!

I enjoyed this trip, however I hadn’t swam for years. My mindset is young but my body said different. I did get In the water and saw fish immediately when looking down into water. There were also turtles in the area which I viewed, from on the boat, swimming towards the snorkeling area. I didn’t feel comfortable swimming over to where they were. So, I got back on the boat and enjoyed the views. The crew was very helpful. Thank you.
