Tim was very informative and went out of his way to get to know each of the visitors on his tour. His knowledge of the history of Alexandria and the people throughout the 275 years of the town's existence is impressive. He also had some great recommendations for lunch. Bill and Sandy

A superb tour. Just the right amount of interesting history knowledge and local facts which made for a very entertaining afternoon. Tim is personable and fun and held the attention of both a history nerd(me) and my 15 year old daughter. Alexandria is also an easy town to love, and a fun ferry ride from DC. as a Brit I didnt know about the town (maybe an anti George Washington thing going on there!) but Im really glad we took the tour. Definitely one to add to a DC experience.

Tim was our expert tour guide on a recent walking tour of Alexandria. He was outstanding. His descriptions of landmark sites, history, architecture, and events were clear, engaging, and substantive. He made us want to learn more about this storied town. He was kind, patient, affable, and sensitive to the needs of all participants. Totally professional and fun learning experience.
