Curious about Portland's history with railroads, fires, wars, famous poets and Hollywood producers? Join us for a Walk Through Time! This tour begins on Commercial Street and continues for 2 hours through the historic Old Port, downtown and waterfront areas, sharing highlights of Portland's history since 1632.

Some of the locations we may feature on your tour include; the lobster statue, the home of Henry Wadsworth-Longfellow and his place of worship, the Eastern Cemetery, the Abyssinian Church, the U.S. Customs House and more.

***Tour duration is two "ish" hours, based on guest engagement and pace of the group. Planning on 2.5 hours for arriving early to check-in and make it back to your vehicle post tour is recommended.

Really fun tour with Mike. Learned so much in 2.5 hours and walked away with loads of tips and suggestions for the rest of our stay! We recommend it !

We had a lovely tour with Glenn today. He gave us a great overview of Portland from the lobster industry to some of its famous residents. It was the perfect amount of time. I appreciated Glenn's enthusiasm and interest in being sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. Would recommend.

Took this tour with Mike and it was awesome. Can’t say enough good things about him! We learned so much more than we thought we would and definitely saw more of Portland than we expected to! I appreciated Mike sharing personal experiences and perspectives on current issues in Portland that we might not have learned about otherwise. He’s a great guide!!! Also the cookie at the end was delicious!
