We enjoyed learning about the history of Portland through this tour, which made our short visit more meaningful. The 2 hr walk through town was enjoyable (perfect 65 degree weather in Sept), good exercise, and a great value, especially with the cookie at the end. Thanks to our guide, Mike!

We had 3 other Portland tours during our stay prior to taking this walking tour. It was a very good way of seeing the city and learning more about its history. We enjoyed it and I highly recommend it.

Description was vague that this was a walking tour of Portland. Two hour tour end up being 2 hours and 40 minutes. Standing and walking the entire time. Then it ended a half mile from where we started. I guess I should have figured it out when the description read you must not have heart condition. It was the same price as the other tours, so I assumed it was also on a bus. It was a very limited tour of Portland. The best part was the street in the ad. We wish we would have taken a different tour.

We are very disappointed to read of your displeasure in our 5-star tour. This has always been described and titled, "A Walk Through Time" and we have no idea why you would think it's a bus tour. We are sorry that you assumed otherwise. Secondly, your guide, Mike explains to everyone at the start that this is a walking tour that is generally 2 hours, but if nobody has a pressing time issue and all seem interested, he may extend the tour a little longer. This tour is accurately describing exactly what is offered and the limits are only confined by the areas we traverse. We visit not only the street you enjoyed, but also the greater Old Port area and Monument Square, as well as the eastern and waterfront areas on the peninsula while sharing the historical significance of all. This is the first and only review less than 5 stars, and again, we are sorry you did not enjoy yourself thinking you should have been on one of the shorter bus tours offered in the area.
