We really enjoyed our tour with Mike. Heā€™s very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the buildings. He found all the shady spots to talk about what we were seeing. The pace was comfortable and his manner made it easy to talk to him and ask questions. Iā€™d recommend this tour to anyone , whether itā€™s your first time here or even if you live here. Youā€™ll learn a lot.

You can tell Mike really gets a lot of personal pleasure in sharing the history and sights of Portland. He started with us as a food tour guide and as his preferences lay with the history it was an easy choice to let him move forward with this passion project instead. Happy to hear you had a great time and we appreciate your review!

Our guide was very informative and we enjoyed a nice walk through Portland. I would have preferred going into sites, such as the Longfellow House and the a more comprehensive tour of the historic burial grounds vs looking at buildings. Very nice refreshing break and an added treat at the end of the tour. I think a 90 minute tour would have satisfied us more than the 120 minute tour.
