Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour

Overview

Take a tour that lets you immerse yourself in the park. Our guides are master naturalists, botanists, geologists, historians, and - most importantly - relentlessly curious! This is not just a sightseeing tour, it's a day all about learning and connection.

Today's tour includes 4-6 miles of walks and hikes at various points of interest.

Join your guide for a full day visiting the land and sea of Acadia National Park. Each day is planned based on tides and your group to make the most of your day. Your tour will include short hikes at iconic destinations such as the Ocean Path, Thunder Hole, Bubble Rock, and Jordan Pond, while also leaving time to hike on the trails and away from crowds. Along the way, your naturalist guide will share stories of Acadia’s history, explain its natural features, and share information about its flora and fauna.

Groups are capped at 8 adventurers so you can get a truly immersive and personal experience.

What To Expect

Ocean Path

We'll walk along the ocean path taking in beautiful views of the sea. Our hike includes a visit to Thunder Hole. Expect to hike for about 2 hours on mild to moderate trail.

Thunder Hole

We'll visit the iconic Thunder Hole on our walk.

Jordan Pond

We'll visit Jordan Pond for an enjoyable walk. This is also where we'll eat a picnic lunch. You can even grab famous popover!

Somes Sound

We'll have our lunches at the beautiful Somes Sound.

Hunters Beach

We'll walk along one of our favorite secret spots to see marine wildlife.

Haley was an outstanding guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and so very flexible. She was very Creative in that she took us to one path that isn’t necessarily on the map, but she saw our interest, so she brought us to the trail called hunters Beach. She had so much knowledge not only about the the trails and hiking, but also the flora and fauna. She volunteered to take pictures of us and had a great sense of humor and was so friendly.

We spent more time in the car than actually hiking. The "guides" didn't provide any useful information that enhanced the experience. We thought they were supposed to be naturalists. I believe most of them were climbers. The guide for my group had never hiked the trail we went on before. I had friends that explored on their own and spent much more time actually hiking and seemed to enjoy the experience more. We only had 1 day in Acadia and I felt like we wasted our trip.

This past Friday I embarked on the Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour led by Mish. She was extremely knowledgeable about details regarding both the history and present state of Acdaia National Park. We explored Sand Beach, the Ocean Path, Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond, had lunch at Somes Sound, visited George Bucknam Dorr's estate, trekked along some hiking paths with great views of the coastline, and topped everything off with a trip to the summit of Cadillac Mountain. Acadia National Park is an amazingly beautiful place and I am so glad I was able to experience it with an awesome guide like Mish. I highly recommend her and Good Trip Adventure and will definitely keep an eye open for other adventures they offer.
