Many rides were closed. The website does not tell you this nor does the app, but these rides are only open on the weekend. I had planned for today to go (monday). I checked the app yesterday and the rides were open, it didn't say only open on the weekend. I check today and it says Saturday and Sunday only. I check the website again and itdoesnt say weekends only! If I didn't have the app and check before going I never would have known. I decode to go anyways since we have passes. Food is way overpriced for what you get and is barely mediocre at best. I don't even want to go over to busch gardens but it's the same company and they don't deserve any of my money for this stunt. Don't even bother unless you have a bunch if money to waste. We certainly don't.

I’m very glad I didn’t pay for this trip… (one of my friends has an annual pass that included a day pass for me). Every park has maintenance issues from time to time, but it seemed as if half the entire park was closed for one thing or another. Even the little stream at the entrance (not really an attraction, just a visual feature, really) wasn’t working. Honestly, if that much is broken, close the whole park and focus less on milking what you can out of unsuspecting patrons, and focus instead on fixing the broken attractions! Lots of ads locally about new items - but many will be turned off with the sub-par state of the facility. Either they fix this, or adventure island is in its last gasps - if locals won’t go, it’ll never be profitable. Next time, I’ll try Aquatica or a Disney water park…

I'm not even going to review the place because what I'm going to say to you is probably more important than anything I could say about inside the park. Get yourself out of there before the late afternoon thunderstorm comes because once that does everybody rushes out of the park at once and I kid you not you will be stuck in the parking lot for 2 hours. If that doesn't ruin your entire day, regardless of how much fun you had on the rides, then you're different than me.
