We do apologize for canceling the tour last minute. Washington has marches and other events that often make exploring the National Mall area untenable and don't give much advance notice. We are glad you enjoyed the museum but to clarify for future guests - we do not charge you for the tickets to the museum of African American History - it is a public resource and tickets are accessible on the Smithsonian website.

It was really wonderful to look at the building of Washington DC and our nation’s history from this additional perspective. Our guide, Mr Q is personally steeped in African-American history and he made it come alive. The tour is a great intro to what the visitor encounters at the African American History and Culture Museum. Kudos also to Curtis our driver.

USA Guided Tours was conducted today by Dre. He has done an incredible job. Not only was he knowledgeable about the information provided. He ensured that all the needs of the attendees were taken into account during the visit. I originally thought paying $80 was a lot. Dre made it worth every dime.
