We drove around for 2 hours and then it was too windy so we didnā€™t go up in the air. I understand it was dangerous, but we wasted two hours of time.

Thank you for sharing about your experience. Sometimes Mother Nature provides us with ample notice of poor weather, and other times not. Our operation is highly wind and weather dependent, and weather conditions can vary between locations, hence the need to sometimes visit multiple launch sites. Everything we do is with your safety in mind, and we will never jeopardize that. We are so sorry for any inconvenience the cancellation of your tour caused, and understand your time is valuable. There is no charge for a cancellation of your hot air balloon ride due to weather, and no obligation to reschedule. We hope to see you again in the future and provide you with the ballooning experience you were looking for when the conditions are right.

We had a great time beginning with our driver that picked us up, she was very nice and sociable. The one thing that was not really an issue was the bathroom situation but should be mentioned. The flight actually does not take place until 5pm. The only bathroom is the one at the airport which will needs to be driven to before you set out to the ballooning location after that no more washrooms. We watched the setup which was really interesting. Once ready everyone hops/climbs into the basket. We were out at about 5000 ft when it was time to come down. Landing sites are determined by the wind. Once landed we had champagne and little snacks and received our certificates. I would recommend this to anyone.
