What To Expect

Phoenix Sonoran Desert Preserve

Your hot air balloon tour check in at the Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride Parking Area, unless the roundtrip hotel transfers option is selected. Guests will float above the awe-inspiring Sonoran Desert viewing local landmarks, wildlife and plant life from above.

Camelback Mountain

Soar past iconic Camelback Mountain in the Phoenix Valley. This mountain is a favorite of local hikers and cyclists.

Downtown Phoenix

As the sun sets, you'll see Downtown Phoenix in the distance. As you come in to land, a table complete with linens and china awaits you in the heart of the desert, a clue to what you are about to enjoy! You'll be greeted with a traditional celebration that includes scrumptiously prepared gourmet cuisine from the award-winning Vincent’s on Camelback restaurant. First-time flyers will be treated to the legendary Balloonists Ceremony that balloonists all over the world have been sharing for more than a century.

Our pilot bill and his crew where amazing we ended up in the air more than planned it was totally worth it. Bill is hilarious and kept us entertained. Even with some annoying people on board he kept his composer and entertained us and got us to the ground safe. Awesome experience

We received this balloon ride as a gift from our employees and we were very grateful for it Everything went smoothly and as expected. The view from above was delightful and the ground crew was very pleasant and accommodating. However, our "captain" (Mike) was pretty cranky, unfriendly and unkind for the majority of the ride - demanding answers from the group and just generally unenjoyable. He got a little bit more hospitable when we landed for the champagne and appetizers, but I was pretty turned off by that point. It would have been much more enjoyable had he been more friendly.

Any was so helpful getting everyone organized into their groups, Pilot Tom, and Amy with the rest of crew got the balloon unfolded, inflated,and off the ground in record time so we had more time in the air to enjoy. Tom was just a wealth of information as we were flying, made an exceptcalle landing, even though there was a little to much breeze. Amy and rest of crew managed to get to the landing just in time to help everyone out of the basket, and immediately started to setup the tables for the greatest ending of a flight i ever experienced.
