ABA has prepared an exciting and informative back-woods wilderness adventure for you in the heartland of Alaska’s Rain Forest near the port of Ward Cove/Ketchikan. Meet your Alaskan tour guide and leave the civilized world behind as you join an intimate group of adventurers going into this lush forests setting. Travel by ATV into the Alaskan Wild Woods Base Camp to begin your hiking adventure at the trailhead.

This tour was so much fun and all three teenagers enjoyed it. Our guide Marcus (a local) was so accommodating. He called me the morning of the tour to coordinate a closer pick up location and was right on time to get us. He gave us a great tour of Ketchikan, was knowledgeable, fun and easy to talk to. We loved riding the quad and hiking through the rain forest. Hearing some first hand accounts of big foot along the way was an added bonus. Everyone had a fun time on this tour- would definitely recommend!

Do not recommend! Not worth the price we paid ( we bought directly from our cruise ship). Very very short ATV ride. It took us 5 minutes to leave the civilized world! so not deep in the woods! No species of animals were identified! More than 30 minutes of listening to Big Foot podcast sitting on a damp seat. Very Boring! The only interesting part was a few minutes of driving the ATV and squishy grounds. The hike was easy and my liked drinking hot chocolate in the woods. Since I was the one who paid a lot of money for that hot chocolate, I was not able to enjoy mine!! The van was old and tour guide was not funny! He was polite though. The tour guide was pushy asking for 5 stars reviews at the end of the tour.

We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your time with Alaska Bigfoot Adventures. To say no species of animals are identified is inaccurate though. Along the trail there are multiple kiosks identifying animals in this area. One’s I specifically speak about are black bear, shrew, ermine, and grouse. The stories played are eye witness accounts gathered by Dr Robert Alley a researcher who studied Bigfoot in this area. And whom I’ve received exclusive permission to play these stories. The total time of these stories is 17 minutes and they are split up between 2 locations. So no not 30 minutes. The van isn’t the newest model available but is clean. The guide being a comedian isn’t a requirement, but I do feel I bring a decent sense of humor to the tour that’s appropriate for all ages. We believe we offer a very interactive tour which has a town tour, ATV ride, and a Nature Walk on a trail that's brand new. Only being 1 year old! We consider this a good deal and far from boring!
