Drive your own sled-dog team with 4 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a huge snow eld high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for an exhilarating ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, listen to stories about running sled dog races of over a 1,000 miles long, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses.

Every guide, driver, pilot was experienced and professional while being welcoming and jovial. It was perfect from pick up to drop off. I can’t recommend highly enough. DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE.

This was our grand finale for our 10 days in Alaska and it did not disappoint! We went from Fairbanks down to Seward and each day and tour was better than the last one. When we left for our final tour with Alaska Helicopters, we could not imagine exceeding the Kenia Fjords, Denali, Talkeetna but it did! There were 4 of us ages 18-72 and we each had a blast. The copter ride was phenomenal and the Mushing and mushers were all 10/10. Everyone was very knowledgeable, reassuring and there were even husky pups to love on! We saw it all from the air, landed on a glacier, walked on the glacier, and then did a 2 mile dog sled ride. We are learned a lot. I highly recommend without reservation.

The VERY best experience of our 2 weeks in Alaska! Helicopter ride is exhilarating...but to meet the dog trainers and learn about the wonderful care these dogs receive is special. The dogsled ride is so interesting and you get to be the musher! This should be a must for anyone!
