Drive your own sled-dog team with 4 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a huge snow eld high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for an exhilarating ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, listen to stories about running sled dog races of over a 1,000 miles long, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses.

The entire experience was amazing for our family. This was our first time in a helicopter. We were given a safety briefing before boarding and felt very safe. The flight was very scenic going up to the glacier. It was so cool to see the dog camp flying in. You can see how much they took care of their sled dogs. We had a wonderful time dog sleding. The lodge was really new and clean. They also have a nice restaurant and gift shop there. The staff was great; from our transfer driver Robert, our helicopter pilot Steven and mushers Ben and Steven, they were all very friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. Thank you for such a memorable experience. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and come back again.

IT WAS ALL AWESOME. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. Booking is easy. Be honest about your weight- you are weighed and ground accordingly as to the helicopter used. People who were not honest ended up having to wait for the larger helicopter. When you are up front about weight then you will go at your scheduled. So don't complain if you have to wait. PS Photographers include the weight of equipment. Reminder, tip...tip...and remember to tip. I saw too many who didn't.

The experience is impressive, location, views, the mushers and dogs, all of it comes together very uniquely. My daughters loved the helicopter ride and then when they got on the glacier the views were incredible. Topping that off was the actual dog sled rode and finally meeting the dogs and the rest of the team there. We loved playing with the puppies too. Great experience and definitely worth it. Capped off a great vacation.
