Drive your own sled-dog team with 4 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a huge snow eld high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for an exhilarating ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, listen to stories about running sled dog races of over a 1,000 miles long, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses.

I probably would not have picked this activity because of price but other couple said “let’s do”...so we said ok. It is an experience I’ll never forget! It was cold, windy then cold snd sunny...beautiful! Dallas was a wonderful guide on our ride...so informative. Two miles may not seem like much but it is in 20 degree weather so is plenty. The dogs are very well taken care of and want to pull..they have a purpose and love it! I thought the chopper were going slow but was told we were going 120 mph...omg!

Amazing once in a lifetime experience both flying over Lake George and the view of Knik glacier and the dog sled camp. The view was beautiful beyond what I can truly describe. We had a minor issue with the photo package afterwards but was taking care of promptly by Mike. Highly recommended!
