Drive your own sled-dog team with 4 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a huge snow eld high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for an exhilarating ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, listen to stories about running sled dog races of over a 1,000 miles long, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses.

Do - This - Tour!!! What a blast. These dogs and folks are absolute professionals, and give you an experience that will not disappoint. From the warm, friendly welcome at Knik River Lodge, they get you briefed and dressed, wasting no time getting down to the “good stuff!” Our helo ride was smooth and comfortable, and the scenery was breathtaking. The sheer size of the glacial fields is staggering - it wasn’t until our pilot pointed out some mountain goats (that looked like miniscule white dots) that I was really able to put it all in perspective. Our reception team at camp and our mushers were experienced professionals, and the dogs...oh, the dogs! They just want to work...and then nuzzle...and a couple even send you off with sloppy kisses. Could not have been a better experience! 5 stars!

The Best 26th. Weddings Anniversary Celebration... Amazing staff very nice and helpful, Pilot was awesome. Dogs 🐕 OMG they are all so cute and the trainer Great. Everything about this Tour is Excellent. You can miss doing other Tours but not this one. Love Alaska because of this Tour. For sure we will be back to bring our children.

This was by far an amazing experience. Yes it is expensive for a one and a half hour tour but what you receiving a one and a half hours is well worth every cent I recommend the full package of pictures and video which is what I’m waiting on now couldn’t recommend him more highly
