Father and son guides were informative and very accommodating! They had a lot of history and cultural insights to share. Also, they were very kind and down-to-earth people, easy to converse with. Thank you!

Unfortunately for us, the company had a staffing problem and we had a substitute guide. He hadn't been informed of the itinerary and drove past our first stop of Saxman Village with totem poles and dance show. He took us to a park to hopefully see bear, - a bit early in the season, but we did see a bald eagle and hawks, plus seals and dolphins. Nice. After we told him our itinerary, he went to the Saxman Village but the show was over and no more for that day. Disappointing. The mini van was difficult to get in and out as it had a side sliding door so the back two rows had to climb over the can wheel. Tricky. There was no microphone for his audio commentary so we couldn't hear in the back rows. Sometimes it is better to go with larger group tour companies as in this case, smaller was not fabulous.

I sincerely apologize and understand your disappointment. I’m offering you a full refund on this tour. I was called out of town at the last minute and was short one driver. I contacted another well known company Rainforest Tours to take this one tour. Unbeknownst to me rainforest tours chose to dispatch a inexperience guide that had only been in Alaska a few months. He was Driving a Rainforest Tours van not one of ours. Our vans are fully equipped, with all safety equipment and amenities offered in our description Again I am deeply sorry. Safe Travels, Dan
