Had an amazing day with Captain Brad, couldn't recommend a more knowledgeable safety oriented local captain than Brad. Super nice boat with quality Yamaha motors, Makes for a perfect boat to get out on Kachemak Bay with. I have hauled machines with them and now taken a level 1 free dive class with Capt. John Dornellas These guys can do it all, and do it well.

Captain John was awesome!! He was the captain of the water taxi we took over to Kachemak Bay State park. He was very prompt, very friendly, and very informative! He told us all about how to make the most of our time in the state park and he made a couple of small detours on the way over so we could see a momma and pup otter swimming and a bald eagle with a fish on the beach. John was interesting and engaging and made our trip to and from the state park as much fun as the time we had there! Thanks John and Coldwater Alaska!

We recently had a wonderful experience on a 2 hour wildlife tour with Coldwater Alaska. We saw thousands of sea birds and 1 bald eagle nesting on Gull Island, several puffins, many sea otters, and 2 humpback whales. Captain John was our guide, and he was very professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Coldwater and Captain John and would not hesitate to book with them again!
