See the bay your own way with this 2-day combo package! This package combines a trip to Alcatraz with an business day San Francisco bike rental. On your first day, you will be assigned by us a random ferry boat time to go inside the Alcatraz cellhouse with audio tour of the grounds. Stay as long as you like during opening hours and return on any boat you desire.

Your second day includes a one NON MOTORIZED self guided bike rental departing from Fisherman's Wharf. This pedal yourself bike may be used from 10am-5pm and due back before close of business.

Guest may redeem the one time bike rental on the same day as Alcatraz or one day after if they choose. Bike vouchers not used within one day after Alcatraz date will be forfeited.

Alcatraz Island access (allow 2-3 hours for your visit) During Covid, Alcatraz does not allow inside-the-prison cellhouse access. All areas on the island are outdoors only. Waits may apply. Bike voucher expires within three days with no future uses or credits. YOUR VIATOR VOUCHER IS NOT YOUR ALCATRAZ ADMISSION TICKET. Your time of departure will be emailed in a separate email 1-3 days prior to your Alcatraz departure. If on the Alcatraz day you still do not know your time of departure do not just show up to Alcatraz! You will be turned away!

I am writing this review so that no one else falls in this trap. The voucher is VERY MUCH OVERPRICED, and I have to admit I was not smart enough to look into this deal. I received a biking voucher which could be used on the day of Alcatraz trip or the day after. The voucher has so much of limitations, with certain date limits. Plus UNLIMITED biking closes at 5 pm. PLEASE DON'T OVERPAY FOR THIS DEAL.

We showed up at 11 to rent our bikes and we were told there were none available even though there were 100’s of them. We should be able to reserve them some now since we’re only given one day to rent them. It shouldn’t be a first come first serve when we have clearly paid way over the value.

Your voucher actually stated you get to rent the bike on day one or the next date. The bike location confirmed that they had bikes available all day long with no issues.

This tour is a fantastic way to see Alcatraz and the bay area! I recommend arriving at Pier 33 30 minutes early, as the queue racks up quite quickly. The Alcatraz experience was excellent - I thoroughly recommend exploring all areas of the island, as there are some great views of the city and Sausalito. There are also some great city views on the left side of the ferry on the way over, so be sure to get a seat on the left. I chose to use my bike voucher a day after Alcatraz, as I wanted some more time to explore the city. I rode across the bay into Sausalito, which was incredible as it was sheltered from the wind and fog. There is a ferry that takes you back to the fisherman's wharf, however, I chose to ride back across the bridge in the hopes of getting some clearer photos of the GG Bridge. I rode a total distance of about 30km return and was stoked with the experience. Definitely worthwhile!
