Overview

See the bay your own way with this 2-day combo package! This package combines a trip to Alcatraz with an business day San Francisco bike rental. On your first day, you will be assigned by us a random ferry boat time to go inside the Alcatraz cellhouse with audio tour of the grounds. Stay as long as you like during opening hours and return on any boat you desire.

Your second day includes a one NON MOTORIZED self guided bike rental departing from Fisherman's Wharf. This pedal yourself bike may be used from 10am-5pm and due back before close of business.

Guest may redeem the one time bike rental on the same day as Alcatraz or one day after if they choose. Bike vouchers not used within one day after Alcatraz date will be forfeited.

We do not cater to infants on bikes as we do not charge for infants. It is your responsibility not to book this bike tour if you have an infant; or pay out of pocket for a bike that has a carrier at another bike location other than ours.

Due to social distancing requirements in the Cellhouse, there may be a lengthy wait for the Cellhouse Audio Tour. Please plan on a 3 hour Alcatraz Island tour experience, including roundtrip boat time.

Alcatraz Island access (allow 2-3 hours for your visit) During Covid, Alcatraz does not allow inside-the-prison cellhouse access. All areas on the island are outdoors only. Boat from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island Boat from Alcatraz Island back to Pier 33 Audio tour downloadable on your personal cell phone One day bike rental from 10am-5pm; first come first served. Waits may apply. Bike voucher expires within three days with no future uses or credits. YOUR VIATOR VOUCHER IS NOT YOUR ALCATRAZ ADMISSION TICKET. Your time of departure will be emailed in a separate email 1-3 days prior to your Alcatraz departure. If on the Alcatraz day you still do not know your time of departure do not just show up to Alcatraz! You will be turned away!

Thank you Viator! A major airline travel branch overbooked my Alcatraz and this company Viator partnered with saved the day! With about 4 days left of my visit to San Francisco it appeared Alcatraz was sold out for weeks and I thought I had no other options for my family. This company they use was able to obtain tickets last minute on their reservation list. Excellent overly friendly staff!. I was skeptical at first based on one single review but all my doubts went away with their helpful staff and available Alcatraz tours. Bikes are easy to obtain and perfect for what we need. I would highly recommend this package for those who are looking for a fun day out with white glove treatment. Thanks to James for all his help!
