Overview

This small-group tour will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge and allow you to walk among the oldest redwoods of the famous Muir Woods National Monument Park. You will venture to Sausalito to admire the beautiful seaside Mediterranean style city, and discover some of the most beautiful house boats in the world, where a hippie community took residence in the 70's.

Your transportation will be in a luxury brand new 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van with only 14 passengers. Throughout your tour, engage in conversation with your tour guide as you learn about his experience as a San Francisco local.

After your visit to Muir Woods and Sausalito (in English), take a ferry from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island where you will have an extraordinary experience INSIDE the most famous prison. Enjoy the award-winning Cellhouse audio tour and some free time to explore the island on your own.

Golden Gate Bridge

We will cross the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge while you admire the 360 degree scenic view.

Vista Point

We will stop for a few minutes for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Skyline

Muir Woods National Monument

Walk quietly at your own pace on a easy path surrounded by 1000 year-old Redwoods.

Sausalito Boardwalk

You will explore Sausalito, have lunch, discover art galleries or get some souvenirs.

Alcatraz Island

You’ll board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone who were incarcerated here. Hear about escape attempts from 'The Rock,' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff. This is the drop off. No transportation after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back.

Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved the whole day, the Golden Gate bridge, Sausalito and the tranquility and beauty of Muir Woods. Then the trip to Alcatraz was fascinating. Must do trip.

Our tour guide was so nice! Very honest and polite. Kept everything on track with the times at each location. Muir woods was great. Got a little bit of a hike in and the views were beautiful. My favorite spot was Sausalito. Wish we could of had more time there. It was just enough time to eat lunch. Would of like to see more there. Worth the money to see all of them!!! :):):)

We could arrange if asked before to do the tour in 2 days so you can spend more time in Sausalito to have a grerat lunch and then explore and come back on the ferry (inside and outside seats) to admire the view of The Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, San Francisco, Alcatraz, etc.
