Overview

This small-group tour will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge and allow you to walk among the oldest redwoods of the famous Muir Woods National Monument Park. You will venture to Sausalito to admire the beautiful seaside Mediterranean style city, and discover some of the most beautiful house boats in the world, where a hippie community took residence in the 70's.

Your transportation will be in a luxury brand new 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van with only 14 passengers. Throughout your tour, engage in conversation with your tour guide as you learn about his experience as a San Francisco local.

After your visit to Muir Woods and Sausalito (in English), take a ferry from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island where you will have an extraordinary experience INSIDE the most famous prison. Enjoy the award-winning Cellhouse audio tour and some free time to explore the island on your own.

Golden Gate Bridge

We will cross the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge while you admire the 360 degree scenic view.

Vista Point

We will stop for a few minutes for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Skyline

Muir Woods National Monument

Walk quietly at your own pace on a easy path surrounded by 1000 year-old Redwoods.

Sausalito Boardwalk

You will explore Sausalito, have lunch, discover art galleries or get some souvenirs.

Alcatraz Island

You’ll board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone who were incarcerated here. Hear about escape attempts from 'The Rock,' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff. This is the drop off. No transportation after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back.

The tour started on time and stayed on schedule. The van was very nice. Fayçal shared information, engaged the passengers, and ensured everyone got the most out of their experience. He was even able to accommodate a couple extra stops that weren’t published. Muir Woods, Alcatraz, and Sausalito are indeed each a “Must see” and having a guide like Fayçal definitely enhanced the experience!

the driver was really nice but it is expensive it is worth if you don't have your tickets for alcatraz ...because we didn't have time to discover Sausalito actually we just have lunch there no time to visit I was really disappointed because after they drop you in front of the Alcatraz boat 1h30 before your departure( I don't want to discover pier 39 I did it before ) we just wait there 1h30 with other people from the tour. Otherwise you are in a small group of people and muir woods and alcatraz are cool.

Dear Joana, I know that Sausalito is really nice and we would love to stay more than the 45min. You had, as mentioned in the add free time in Sausalito. You can enjoy a lunch or explore the town, some do both. We running the schedule as proposed on the add, even more with the Palace of Fine Arts extra stop. Kind regards
