Overview

This small-group tour will take you across the Golden Gate Bridge and allow you to walk among the oldest redwoods of the famous Muir Woods National Monument Park. You will venture to Sausalito to admire the beautiful seaside Mediterranean style city, and discover some of the most beautiful house boats in the world, where a hippie community took residence in the 70's.

Your transportation will be in a luxury brand new 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van with only 14 passengers. Throughout your tour, engage in conversation with your tour guide as you learn about his experience as a San Francisco local.

After your visit to Muir Woods and Sausalito (in English), take a ferry from Pier 33 to Alcatraz Island where you will have an extraordinary experience INSIDE the most famous prison. Enjoy the award-winning Cellhouse audio tour and some free time to explore the island on your own.

Golden Gate Bridge

We will cross the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge while you admire the 360 degree scenic view.

Vista Point

We will stop for a few minutes for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and San Francisco Skyline

Muir Woods National Monument

Walk quietly at your own pace on a easy path surrounded by 1000 year-old Redwoods.

Sausalito Boardwalk

You will explore Sausalito, have lunch, discover art galleries or get some souvenirs.

Alcatraz Island

You’ll board the ferry to Alcatraz at Pier 33 on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. Headsets are provided to listen to the award-winning audio tour, “Doing Time,” where you will learn about notorious criminals like Al Capone who were incarcerated here. Hear about escape attempts from 'The Rock,' and listen to commentary from former inmates and staff. This is the drop off. No transportation after Alcatraz because you will be able to stay as long as you want on the Island until the last ferry back.

You won't regret taking this tour! You'll be picked up in a pristine van, taken to the many sites with Faycal giving the history. Rest assured if there is any concern of getting car sick (there are many winding roads), just do it! Faycal will sit you in front, take the roads slow and will deliver you to the most spectacular sights you will ever see! We will definitely take this tour again, and hopefully he'll add a boat excursion by that time. 😉

This was a good tour. The auto transportation and driver were great. Muir Woods tour was very interesting. However, I feel it was overpriced because of the amount of time we spent in Sausalito. Once we arrived there we had 40 minutes to do a self tour. Unfortunately, some were hungry and had barely enough time to purchase fast food. Therefore, self touring was out of the question. Lastly, once arriving at the Alcatraz pier the driver generally does not walk the tourist to the admission gate. And that place is very confusing and crazy! But, one of the tourist insisted that he escort us there and he did.

Alcatraz, Muir Woods and Sausalito Tour are all totally awsome and worth while! Such a wicked tour! Fayçal our tour guide for Muir Woods and Sausalito tour is a total legend! Such a lovely guy and knows all the stuff there is. It was great to meet him and he is an exact carbon copy of Daniel Ricciardo! Overall all of the tours were awsome, exceeded my own wonders and expectations which I had. So much history to Alcatraz that I wasn't even aware of. Muir Woods is also such a lovely place to visit and hike! Beautiful scenery of the red woods if San Francisco. Amazing to end this tour in Sausalito then to get a ferry back over. With breathtaking views. Also when in Sausalito its awesome to walk around and admire the beauty.
