First off, bring a jacket! No matter how fair the weather may be. This was an awesome adventure. This was a bucket list trip and I'm so proud to have finally accomplished it. The views both on the boat and from Alcatraz were amazing! If your budget is tight, this is a must do excursion as you get so much bang for your buck. Our tour guide was... interesting to say the least. The VIP experience of being picked up in a stylish black Mercedes Benz van was thrilling. The insight given about the city and included destinations were on par! Back to that budget. With this trip, we got to see Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge (which our tour guide was kind enough to let us get pictures of the bridge from multiple locations) and Muir Woods. Those alone will have you feeling accomplished during your visit. Again, this is a must package for anyone planning to experience San Francisco for the first time. You can thank me later. For now, Happy Tripping!

The team was very attentive. The schedule was met. Muir Woods is wonderful, and the time was adequate. Sausalito isn't really a visit; you only make a stop there for lunch, and one hour is too short. It should be two. For people without a vehicle in San Francisco, this tour is convenient. The Alcatraz visit is free and a good option to explore at your leisure.
