All-Access 9/11: Ground Zero Tour, Memorial and Museum, One World Observatory

Overview
This deeply personal tour of Ground Zero begins at the site of what served as a rescue center for victims and place for mementos after the attacks: St. Paul's Chapel. The historic church was miraculously unharmed when the Twin Towers fell.

You'll then walk to the 9/11 Memorial where we'll reflect on the lives lost in the World Trade Center attacks. See "Reflecting Absence," the largest man-made waterfalls on the continent. Your guide will share the meaning behind the memorial, stories from the day, and how New Yorkers came together in the aftermath.

Afterward, visit the 9/11 Museum with your skip-the-line ticket for a self-guided tour of the exhibits and artifacts. Next, walk over to Freedom Tower, and in the lobby, you can watch "Voices," a film about the Twin Towers and Freedom Tower, before riding the SkyPod elevator 1,250 feet up. Visit the tri-level One World Observatory for panoramic views of NYC, immersive LED displays, and the See Forever Theater.

On a beautiful blue sky day this tour was even more poignant. We checked in at St Paul’s Church and introduced to our tour guide Dana. She made us all feel welcome ensuring we all felt comfortable touring the memorial to a harrowing historical event. Dana,s personal experience of that day drew us all to her. She provided positive knowledge & stories about events & heroic people from 911 which gave us a rounded story. Starting off with information about the church & its importance that day, the bell in the church grounds & its importance today, walking onto the fire station & fabulous memorial plaque ending at the memorial pools & gardens. Dana answered all our questions and was informative & knowledgeable about the engineering failure of the twin towers, the lessons learned, the personal stories of rescue & heroism including the boat rescue & how the area has been considered where the towers once stood. The whole tour felt respectful and gave us a sense of how New York has moved on but never forgotten this event.

We had a great tour with Jaclyn, she was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting and worthwhile. I am really glad we chose to do the tour. We also got to skip the queue to get into the museum as part of the tour which saved a lot of standing around. Highly recommend and thanks Jaclyn!
