Overview

Alpine Visitors Centre Tour - This is a great tour if you wish to cover all 3 ecosystems. We start in the lower valley and get you right up to the Alpine Visitors Centre at 11,796 feet. You will encounter breathtaking views, but remember to layer up and bring warm clothes as there is usually snow at the top year round. We get you to the areas most people drive past and give you extra time at each stop for photos. Tours are interpretive and we leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

At the Alpine Visitors Center, guests will have the opportunity to purchase snacks, coffee etc. We have a 30 -45 minute break

My family and I did the 1/2 day tour. It was awesome! Our guide Sam was likewise, awesome! We basically toured the Bear Lake side of the park. We saw Deer, Marmot and Elk. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. All in all I would recommend this tour company.

Unfortunately we did not go. On the website I missed it stating we had to drive behind the van so I booked it. Then no more than a few minutes later I looked and seen we had to due to covid / my husband and I wanted a tour that we could enjoy and not drive. As soon as I noticed I contacted alpine and they were not understanding at all and charged me the full amount. I’ve never heard of a company charging 210.00 to drive behind, using our gas, it’s ridiculous and I will make sure and share it with everyone I know. My husband and I have been vaccinated and this seemed extremely unfair

We booked this the day of, and we are so glad that we did! There is no way we could have gone all the places we did on our own. Plus, the knowledge that Matty had of the area was astounding and so informative. You could tell he had a great love for the area and was able to pass that along. He was very kind, patient and an endless source of information. He made sure that our two younger children were able to see and touch snow, and that meant so much to them and us (being from Texas). I highly recommend this tour and using Matty! This tour was worth every penny! The picture opportunities were endless!
