Amelia Island Guided Kayak Tour of Lofton Creek

Overview
The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is perfect for paddlers of any level, including children and beginners. It’s an intimate nature experience in which participants can expect to get up close and personal with turtles, alligators, snakes, otters, and occasionally, manatees. The terrestrial nature of the forest attracts pileated woodpeckers, red shoulder hawks, and the curious anhinga, sometimes referred to as the “water turkey.” The protected makeup of Lofton Creek means paddling here is “weather resistant” to tumultuous coastal conditions. A south-bound paddle on Lofton Creek provides picturesque marsh views, whereas a north-bound paddle is a more remote, forested experience. The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is a guaranteed good time for everyone in your group!

Cumberland Island Tour - Our family of 5 (with 3 teen boys) had a beautiful day on the water paddling to Cumberland Island. Our guides Stacy and Margarite were excellent, talking about the wildlife, Ft. Clinch and the waterways we were on. Always under the watchful eye of the guide, our boys, who are experienced kayakers, loved the freedom to paddle a little ahead with a little competition to predetermined spots. Once near Cumberland Island we saw horses up close, got out on the beach about 50 feet away from them, and enjoyed the view. The paddle back was a little quicker trying to beat a summer storm moving in. For us the choppy water was all the more fun. I highly recommend this company and tour. From the first phone call, to meeting at the shop, to the paddle and complimentary pictures....EVERYONE was professional and a pleasure to deal with. EXCELLENT ALL AROUND !

Our family loved the kayaking trip!! Catherine was an exceptional guide making sure everyone enjoyed their experience. The fact that this company takes complimentary professional photography pictures along the trip is an exceptional added bonus. They even edit them. It makes the trip so much better because you don’t have to worry with taking your own camera and getting it wet. You can relax and let them do all the work!! Their photos were fabulous! The trip itself was just what I needed. So relaxing and beautiful. I loved the trees, the baby gators, butterflies, beautiful flora. Catherine knew so much about the area to share with us and keeping us safe was always in her front mind. You can’t go wrong with this trip or this company!! Do it soon!!
