Amelia Island Guided Kayak Tour of Lofton Creek

Overview
The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is perfect for paddlers of any level, including children and beginners. It’s an intimate nature experience in which participants can expect to get up close and personal with turtles, alligators, snakes, otters, and occasionally, manatees. The terrestrial nature of the forest attracts pileated woodpeckers, red shoulder hawks, and the curious anhinga, sometimes referred to as the “water turkey.” The protected makeup of Lofton Creek means paddling here is “weather resistant” to tumultuous coastal conditions. A south-bound paddle on Lofton Creek provides picturesque marsh views, whereas a north-bound paddle is a more remote, forested experience. The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is a guaranteed good time for everyone in your group!

My best friend and I had a great time on this little river trip. It was too windy to take the tour we wanted so the guide advised us to take the Lofton Creek trip. I’m so glad we did! The guides we amazing and took candid pics of everyone along the way! I highly recommend this company for its excellent customer service and knowledge of the area.

Thanks Shannon. You all were flexible and got to see another little slice of paradise. We can try again for Cumberland next time:) We appreciate you choosing us to tour with and hope we can do it again.

Catherine and Thomas were wonderful. I was actually the only one on the Lofton Creek tour because it was a little bit of a chilly morning in the off season. Catherine took me a little further than the normal trip and we got to see big Cypress. The tour was peaceful and we had nice conversations about nature and life in general. Thanks!! I also made a quick trip to Palms Fish Camp Restaurant based on her recommendation before flying home. I ate outside overlooking the water and it was delicious.
