Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

This was a very disappointing Sailing tour. We assumed with Covid 19 they would limit the number of people on the boat to allow social distancing but that was not the case. We had 20 people packed on the bow of the boat sitting on flotation pads elbow to elbow. The cockpit has room for maybe 4 passengers to have a real seat. The rest of us sat on the flat deck with no chance of any shade for 90 minutes. We sailed into the wind for maybe 10 minutes. The Captain tacked several times and each time he yelled for everyone to sit down so they could move the sail. Once he made his turn we sailed back towards the dock at maybe 4 or 5 knots. Several times he adjusted the sails so we went slower. It was obvious that he was trying to time it so we would arrive back at the dock at the end of our 90 minutes. Rent a row boat you'll enjoy yourself more. We spent $112 per couple to sit on a sailboat and float around in the sound for 90 minutes. Don't waste your money.

We’ve never been on a sail boat and was cool to have the new experience. Jenna and Ariana were very knowledgeable and made the trip more fun.

I’m not able to rate because our excursion was canceled 20-mins prior to departure due to wind. I do wish that we would have had further notice as we were in route and very excited however I understand that we can’t control Mother Nature.
