Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

This was my first time on a sail boat. What a treat ! The views were beautiful. I loved seeing how the sailboat worked. The captain and the deckhands were very friendly.

The captain encourages anyone to take a turn at the wheel. It is very fun, and he gives some interesting facts along the way. I felt very safe, and the captain was very kind to offer several photos with our personal phones along the way. He made an effort to get to know the passengers. It was quite fun, I would highly recommend it for any age.

We spent a lovely 90 min sailing. Dolphins came close to the boat and since we were low to the water it was a great way to watch them play up close. Passengers who wanted to got to steer the boat and host the sails. An excellent experience for for young children and adults. The staff was very friendly and the captain continually offered to take pictures with our phones. He knew the best shots to take to preserve our memories of this day. The 3 man crew not only sailed the boat, but served both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for a reasonable fee. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, so answered questions and offered interested stories about the area. This trip definitely could have been longer, but with vouchers through Hilton Head Guest Services was reasonably priced.
