We had wandered into the museum on Friday 6th September and continued to wander aimlessly until we were rescued by their delightful staff, and offered a tour of the museum, a highlights' tour apparently. It was just the three of us and it was our best decision all weekend! Tom Parker was a gentleman with a wealth of knowledge that was astounding. The use of the headset was marvellous. The pace was perfect. I have already recommended this to other friends who actually live in New York. Probably the best thing we did all weekend. Well done! I hope I have remembered Tom's name correctly.

We bought our tickets online, which enabled us to skip the lines at the museum. There was a line for a security check, but only a few people were ahead of us and the line moved quickly. There is a lot to see and we only saw a portion of the museum. What we did see was very well presented and interesting. We also bought extra tickets for ā€˜Invisible Worlds’ and ā€˜Davis Family Butterfly Vivarium’. Invisible Worlds was very nice with the lights/sound all around – walls, floor, etc. The only negative was that when we were there, so were about 20 kids under the age of 5. Those kids were running around playing/screaming through the entire ā€œshowā€. I can understand how it would be fun to jump on and around the moving lights – and in general – I love the sound of kids having fun - but at the same time – it was very distracting. It seems there should either be some ā€œno kidsā€ times or perhaps kids should be required to sit and watch. The show plays on a constant loop. The butterfly exhibit was interesting. There are hundreds of butterflies in the exhibit and some will land on you. They only allow a group in at a time to control the number of people in the exhibit at a time, but I still felt it was overly crowded and difficult to move. But still worth seeing. Overall, the museum is well worth visiting.

High standards. Very informative and very well art up. The flow is easy and you really needs about 2 to 3 hours too go around. Worth the visit.
