We spent almost an entire day here. Watched all the movies and went through the T-Rex Exhibit. There is sooo much to see! Definitely get a map because you will get lost! There are friendly and helpful staff members throughout who will also point you in the right direction. We loved this place!

I mistakenly read to take 3 hours to experience the museum, it says at least 3. I unfortunately planned around that time frame and we did not get to really take the time needed to see and read everything. That being said, it was my fault, not the museum's fault that we had to rush through. I really wish we could have taken our time because the exhibits were amazing and so interesting. it was crowded and had lots of field trip kids there, but that is to be expected. of course, the highlight was the Easter Island head from the Night at the Museum movie..we're nerds. Definitely worth the money, didn't think it was high priced anyway, but definitely worth it. Please allow yourself many hours if you want to read and actually see all that it has to offer.

This is a massive museum! Navigation throughout it is fairly difficult. I started in the Hall of Asian Mammals. Big mistake! These exhibits look like something left over from the 1930s - tired exhibits with some unreadable descriptions, multiple light failures rendering other descriptions inaccessible as well. Eventually I got to newer exhibits that were done well. The Hall of Meteorites was excellent! The Hall of Biodiversity equally so. So if you are careful, you can have a really good visit!
