Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

My husband and I took our daughter, and three granddaughters on the Visit in Person Tour. Our driver and guide was Jim Reed. He was very knowledgeable about the area, about the people, and about the customs. We all learned so much. He was very comfortable with the group and was able to impart knowledge as we were driving. He facilitated conversation at our stops and prepared us well ahead of time about each encounter. This was a wonderful opportunity for us to learn and gain understanding about this culture/religion. We are very grateful for what the tour offered and for an outstanding tour guide.

I loved this tour. Daniel our guide and driver had a wealth of history and information to share about Lancaster County and the Amish culture. We stopped at a local farm and toured the countryside which was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this tour - worth every penny. You'll get perspectives that you wouldn't have received otherwise.

I was so excited to go since my wife was there as a child from school and she told me it’s a great place to explore and it was really a great trip seeing the caws being milked and then being offered to drink and then visiting the lumber shop from one side he is doing desks and chairs like any one else but he is doing it with no outside electric and then sitting down with a couple and for more then a hour we asked them what ever we wanted
