If you actually want to learn about the Amish, this is the way to go. The opportunity to ask the Amish general and frank questions about their way of life is very unique. Tour guide DiAnna was instrumental in making this experience a learning one!

Asking questions and getting answers of Amish themselves was a very interesting experience. Gave me another view on their way of live. Made me show that we often live too stressed.

This was an interesting tour and I am glad we did it once. The first stop was at a dairy farm and a young Amish boy gave the tour at the site. He was so sweet! The second stop was at a leather artisan shop and that was probably our favorite. He showed us how he made belts from start to finish. It was wonderful! The 3rd stop I had thought would be our favorite because we were able to sit down in the house of the Amish couple. It started off kind of awkward, but eventually we felt comfortable enough to ask questions. By the end, I had so many questions but our time was over. It was so kind of this family to invite us into their home. The tour on the bus was okay. Much of the information was repeated twice throughout the tour which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was still something we were glad to have done once. Thank you for a nice tour!
