Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

Great staff member, DeAnna, who literally explained everything about Amish and their culture in detail. The best part of the tour was meeting up with an Amish family and in being able to know things first hand.

The Amish Experience was just that a great experience. All of the tours were excellent and the tour guides were not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable. The tour we enjoyed most was the visit in person tour which is a must. This tour you personally meet several amish and you learn their culture through personal conversation with them while they do there chores, or go upon their business. We had the most excellent tour guide Jim R. Who is as knowledgeable about the Amish as the Amish themselves. Thank you Amish Experience and thanks again Jim!

Jim, our tour guide, was great and provided so much information about these people. We visited a Dairy, a home and a craftsman that makes harnesses for horses. We loved the openness of these wonderful people and their desire to share their lives with us. The tour ran longer then the 3 hours but it was so enjoyable. No bathrooms available so be prepared. This ran 5-8 p.m. Since most eating facilities close by 7-8, eating after was difficult so bring snacks to hold you over. Respect their wishes of no photography of the people.
