Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

There are a number of Amish places to visit, hard to say wether this one was any better than the rest. It was just OK, wouldn't say it was "an experience" . The film was very good but for the price the tour around house and school room was quite interesting but for the amount you paid I thought it was a bit expensive. There are 101 questions you would like to ask regarding their culture but really only a Amish person could answer most of them, quide was good but couldn't answer everything. I feel it is too commercialised.

You might have also enjoyed taking our Visit-In-Person Tour, where you actually get to meet members of the Amish community and ask them whatever questions you like. However, as with any group pf people, religious or otherwise, even members of the Amish community don’t always have all the answers to questions regarding cultural interpretation or religious history. There are just so many facets to it, leading some scholars to devote years of study to Amish history and culture alone. We try to give a good overview…call it Amish 101. We visited the Amish Experience as part of a tour with our daughter's 8th grade class. It was really a treat to drive down streets where people still lived with things the way they were "in the old days". Our tour guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. We sat inside a typical school room for Amish children and walked through a typical Amish home. Watching Jacob's Choice was just OK. Definitely stop to get some soft pretzels and home made root beer - YUMMY!

We visited the Amish experience for super saver tour. Our guides name was Kent who was an exceptional guide! He was passionate and knowledgeable and I believe his guide is what truly made the tour as great as it was. The super saver tour gave us a good insight into Amish life.
