Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

We had Art as our tour guide and he was AMAZING!!!!! He was so knowledgeable and informative on the Amish community and religious customs. Our family truly enjoyed this experience. It was like nothing we had ever seen. This trip was genuinely the highlight of our vacation week. We're from Miami, Florida so it was a long drive up, but without this tour we would not have had the rich experience that visiting Lancaster can be. Thank you, Art, for a job VERY well done. You should be proud of yourself. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our family went on the Amish experience whilst visiting Lancaster County. We were not sure what to expect, but once we meet Jeff we knew we had made a good choice. Whilst touring the local area, Jeff shared many observations and insights into the local Amish. He shared knowledge of the local people, and also into the reasons for why certain behavior is seen. The enthusiasm shown for the subject, the humor an and keen wit breathed life into the tour. We would recommend that this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the Amish people, the characters in their society and to see many unexpected sights of a people that want to live a simple peaceful life.

I previously reviewed this tour under the Amish Experience. This was worth every penny. Beth was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We visited three Amish farms - a dairy farm, a canning business and last but certainly not least we visited with a charming Amish family who allowed us to ask them questions. They were extremely gracious and welcoming. This was without a doubt an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. I can't say enough wonderful things about this tour. Don't miss it and be sure and ask for Beth!
