Hi, I just wanted to thank our tour guid Art for going above and beyond giving us an AMAZING in depth experience of Amish country. He clearly was friends with the Amish people that he took us to go visit and therefore was able to fully describe what being Amish was like along with the Amish clearly giving extra detail about their shops because they liked our amazing tour guid. I also wanted to say that the last Amish group we visited, Ebersol, was truly wonderful. We where able to sit down and have a round table discussion with real Amish people about being Amish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and everyone :-D

Do not miss this tour! You actually get to visit with three Amish families on their farms. Very interesting experience. The families were so friendly and willing to answer questions. A delightful evening!!!

For the past several years I've been taken school groups to Lancaster County and have discovered the best way in immerse in understanding the culture and traditions of the Amish community is by way of The Amish Experience. The step-on guide tour of Lancaster County is wonderful and informative. On a recent trip we had Bernice as our tour guide. She was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. After the journey through the county, we came back to a visit of a replica school house and home. Again, very informative. After that we enjoyed a multimedia presentation of Jacob's Choice. Without giving it away, it was a thought provoking performance that gave everyone a great appreciation about what Amish life is all about, and the commitment and challenges it brings. We finish our experience off with a wonder (wonderful) family style meal. The fried chicken is the best I've ever had . . . period! Plenty of food for sure, but save room for the Shoo Fly Pie - another Lancaster County tradition. Whether a small group, large group, or just a family vacation, The Amish Experience is highly recommended.
