Amish Experience Visit-In-Person Tour

Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

Very informative and interesting. Friendly, knowledgeable staff made this a great choice for learning about the Amish.

our tour guide, Beth, was exceptional in answering all of our group's questions. Meeting & talking with the 3 different Amish families was a wonderful experience. We're so glad that we did this tour!

The VIP (Visit-in-Person) Tour is one of my favorites. Thanks for making it a part of your itinerary.

Richard was our tour guide and he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The tour covers many area’s of the Amish. My only complaint would be that since the Amish do not work on Sundays, they should not offer the tour on Sundays. We were not able to go to some of the places that we would have had it been a week day.

We figure we might as well be open on Sundays and offer the tour within the limitations we have. Better to be there than not at all I suppose. The main difference on a Sunday is the farmlands tour cannot stop at an Amish property.
