Amish Experience Visit-In-Person Tour

Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

I enjoyed the entire experience. The bus tour and the stop at the amish pretzel place...was my favorite part...they were the best I have ever ate...watching the amish farmers was neat as well...the house tour was very informative and learn a lot from the whole experience.

Went on the in-person tour this evening and had a fantastic time with DeAnna as our guide. During our time traveling she shared a great deal of information both about the area and the Amish Lifestyle. It was so interesting to meet some of the community and learn about their trades—in our case, dairy farming and leatherworker. We also got to visit with a local family. Definitely well worth it!
