Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

The house visit was our favorite part. We all felt that if it wasn’t for the tour guide, Rodney, we wouldn’t have learned near as much about the Amish lifestyle. Thank you!

We enjoyed all 3 stops on this tour as well as the talks given by our tour guide between stops. The dairy farm, where the owner and his sons were doing the evening milking, was really interesting. The carriage shop was fun to see, and the visit to the Amish family home was both intimate and enlightening. Our guide, Beth, was very informative and interesting. She was also very respectful towards our Amish hosts, allowing us to understand the culture and values of these wonderful people.

This tour was a wonderful experience! Getting to visit three Amish individuals learn of their business and life as an Amish was enlightening and rich. I still share with friends and family the things I learned on the tour. This tour is worth taking!
