Overview

Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

I loved simply connecting with the families and relating on a more personal basis. It was an amazing and inspiring experience to see many different facets of their lives; it led me to contemplate my own way of life and assumptions. The Visit in Person tour was the perfect tour for us. I really wanted to be able to talk to people, ask questions and really learn about the Amish way of life minus the touristy feel. It was a pleasant surprise to find a tour where we could do this. De’anna was the best tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of the million questions we had. I highly recommend this tour!
