This is a very entertaining and educational experience for those interested in the lifestyle and customs of the Amish people. There are three visits involved in the trip, which lasts about 3 hours. First is a visit to a dairy farm during the evening milking time. Be careful going through the barn, and your shoes may get dirty. The second is a visit to a craftsman, in our case to a person who builds and repairs the buggys that the Amish use to travel about. The third is a conversation with an Amish couple, who are willing to answer any questions you have but are also interested in finding out about you. Our tour guide, DeAnna, was very friendly and knowledgable, providing us with details about Amish life while we were traveling between visit sites. The travel between sites is on a 14-passenger bus.
