Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

Our guide Jim did a great job in providing background and a guide of what you expect, in this close encounter with some local Amish families. It was clear he had a good understanding of the Amish life-style

I did the Farmlands tour with Jim as the guide. And the In person visits with Joe. Both tours were terrific! The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. The stops/visits with the Amish at their homes and businesses was enlightening. Highly recommended!

I’ve been taking visitors to Lancaster County for many years and cannot recommend the In Person experience highly enough. It is hands down the most enjoyable and educational way to get to know the Amish and their way of life. Do not miss!
