Amish Experience Visit-In-Person Tour

Overview
Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

Well worth it. He actually could charge more and easily get away with it. Very enjoyable and informative, and a healthy dose of humor.

Very interesting and informative. Started on time the tour guide was very educated on the Amish lifestyle. The best part was the visit to a Amish home sitting and talking we met as strangers left as friends

To start, the experience began on time, that is important to me. The tour guide, Joe, was very informative. He would describe areas as we drove by, and gave insight to Amish culture. The dairy farm was a new experience for me. I had never seen milkers powered by vacuum lines. The farm family, although busy, was very kind in answering questions. The stop at the harness shop was quite nice. The highlight was the time spent at the home of the Amish couple; I cannot remember their name. I could have spent several hours there learning more about their life, customs, and faith. Take all the pictures of the farms and equipment that you would like, but respect the people's wishes and do not take facial photos. This was neither a waste of time nor money. Definitely worthwhile
