Many visitors to Lancaster seek out meaningful personal contact with the Amish community. Imagine visiting three Amish properties where our longstanding relationships allow you to become their guests during your stay. This exclusive tour is limited to 14 guests, and provides the rare opportunity to meet and talk to various Amish where they live and work. The three stops: Visit an Amish farm at milking time, go behind-the-scenes with an Amish craftsman, and then sit and chat with an Amish family right in their home.

You get to visit a working dairy farm, a craft person's workshop and the home of an amish family. You can ask questions and absorb a genuine amish way of life. Driver Jim Reed was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, courteous and personable.

The professor is just that a guy with a wealth of knowledge about the Magic lantern and much history about the period! He makes it interesting in so many ways. Be prepared to enjoy everything!

Alvin was a great guide for his dad’s milking business. He did a great job talking to all of us and the home visit was wonderful. They were very open with us. The visit to the leather business was also really a gem. I loved watching Isaac S. make a very fast belt. This experience was really worth the money especially if you have a real desire to get to know some of the Amish.
